Getting This Started

I’ve been wanting to put this up for some months now and keep getting in my own way. First it’s trying to come up with what it was going to be about and and then it was trying to create a good theme. There were things like, if I make it about only one or two topics will I have enough to say on those to keep up regular posts. I also didn’t want to hold myself out as an expert on something and then have to deal with all the stuff that goes with that.
Finally I decided I would make this just a personal blog. I’ll have categories for things that I think I’ll post about the most. I won’t limit myself to one or two topics. I know this completely goes against all the blog gurus. But then again, it’s a personal blog, it’s my thoughts on things, that’s pretty limited don’t you think?
As you can see I’ve started out with a basic default template for the look. Sorry but my custom one wasn’t playing nice. And at least it’s up and you can have a look at things.
It posts to Twitter as well and I will get a Twitter follow button added soon. There are a few other things I’ll be adding as well as blog entries.
