I should probably tell you a little about myself.
I was born….no that’s not it. I grew up….no that won’t do.
Current status: West Coaster living on the East Coast for too many of the last more than 20 years.
Currently working as a Application Administrator and Database Administrator.
I have an Undergraduate degree in Virtual Reality, well ok it’s Computer Aided Drafting and Design with an emphasis in Virtual Reality but that’s a lot to type. Up to this point I have not worked in that area of computers and I have no doubt things have changed since I was in school.
In addition to spending much too much time on the computer, some of the other things I do in my “free” time are: play guitar (electric, and classical), art (traditional and digital), read, Taekwon Do (it’s great exercise and a lot of fun) and probably a few other things that I don’t recall at the moment.
I believe in Rock and Roll, that crunchy and spicy food are good for the soul, as is getting rolled by the Ocean and having your sinuses power washed by Mother Nature. I think we all need to think more, read more, and turn off the TV more. I think the demise of the Shuttle Program is essentially the demise of our Space Program and a complete and utter National Travesty. I think trees and polar bears need hugs but I also think technology is cool and we are going to have to find a way for it to all co-exist in a symbiotic relationship instead of the current antagonistic one or the other relationship. We have some incredible minds in the world today and I think they should be allowed to solve the world’s problems and not just for the highest bidder.
And now that you know all that you’re looking at the site design thinking, ‘uh?’. Good. At least you are thinking.
